World Gypsy Folk Band 'RICKETTY BRIDGE' is recording a new CD live in the Studio.
Sessions begin this friday
Kavisha mazzella and nano stern
Have completed another adventure in the Springstudio. Nano was over here from Chile and his round of tours and special appearances and the collaboration was a winner. I played frisbee with him at the National Folk Festival in Canberra last year and surprized him by telling him he would be back in Australia in a years time, in my studio. I dont think he believed me at the time but sometime its strange how things work out. It must be the Gypsy in me http://www.kavisha.com/ and http://www.myspace.com/nanostern
anything goes
Talking of the Gypsy in me, I did the sound design and operation for the Whitehorse Theatre's May production of this classic musical. With a 15 piece band and an all singing all dancing cast this was a real blast from the past. http://www.whitehorsemusical.com.au/
INVENTION IN TIME
Kate and Ariel recorded their new CD with me at the Steiner teaching College Rooms in Melbourne in August 2009. We have now completed mixng the recordings which include solo apperances from some very special and well known guests. The CD will be launched on 15th August http://www.inventionintime.com/about_us.htm
Tarka
Veni Vidi Vici. We played the concerts and they were great. The Orchestra did an outstanding job of interpreting
this often difficult and challenging material, and the result was captured on 6 HD cameras and an audio recorder.
Now I have to edit it and put it out on DVD for the musicians to have a look.
If you are interested in having a copy of this DVD which will aso include the film I shot for the concert, and which
was projected during the concert, email me at harry @springstudio.com.au.
Thats all for now - back to the editing suite!
If you dont know Doug's solo work, have a look at this piece I filmed at the Boite concert in 2007.
Really beautiful playing.

Reflehos
Completed mixing and mastering with thie excellent new Latin/Progressive band
singing in Spanish, French and English. Beautiful songs with an unusual flair.
Singer Bonnie Smith reminds me of someone from the Latin Scene in the '60's
Magic music and intriguing compositions.
FEDERATION BELLS
I am contracted to the City of Melbourne to rework the Federation Bells . This involves
redesigning the mechanisms while keeping the current system going. Very Tricky.
THe Battle of the Beanfield
This Unusual school musical by Chris James is almost completed. The story is based on a true
incident in the UK when the Travellers were forbidden to go to Stonhenge and were instead assaulted, their
mobile homes burnt and their convoy destroyed. It is recent history but it sounds incredible.
Featuring Harry, Maribel Steel and Mal Webb of vocals and instruments.
