I have been honestly slightly ‘under the pump’ as we say. Trying to keep up with the conflicting requirements of SEO, Webhosting and all that entails, helping fragile friends, keeping the fragmenting supply chain working for our business and honestly missing the social interactions we have all been denied, for reasonable cause, over the past TWO YEARS ALREADY!
Of course one is never supposed to mention this in polite commercial circles. There are no problems, no-one ever gets sick, has an accident or goes to war.
But life intervenes. I am doing my best to keep this website with all its varied information up to date and relevant. But if for any reason you find it not sufficient, I apologise. If there is anything specific you’d like addressed, or shortfalls in the information that is presented, or if you’d like to contribute in any way, feel free to say hello. You can email me from the contact page.
Meanwhile I and my little team of elves are still building sound booths. From time to time we also maintain the Federations Bells and do what we love as much as we can.
My lovely partner and I are working on our long overdue album, and we are really close to releasing it. Every time we check the mixes, we do less tweaking which surely must be a good sign. However it does remind me of the downside of having ones own studio – endless revision is affordable and easy. Definitely a catch 22.
Mind you, being ‘under the pump’ is not such a bad place to be when the temperature passes 37 degrees as it did a couple of days ago. I turned on the news to see the inevitable bushfires spring up all over the place. This year has seen a lot of growth in the woodlands and meadows, due to La Ninia cycles, so I think we may be in for a substantial fire season. And yet there are those clamoring for more coal fired power stations. What part of climate change do some people not understand?
All the best to you.
